My wife and I volunteer in our non-profit mission, the Mali Missions Project, as much as possible as an extension to the Timbuktu Heritage & Ownership Center we operate from our headquarters in Tulsa OK. We are building out a Virtual Center in light of the Coronavirus Pandemic for the viewing of manuscripts (ancient history texts, scientific literature and poems).
My family is one of the generational and private archive/library families tasked with safeguarding the ancient Manuscripts of Timbuktu.
I dedicate time to the non-profit I formed to preserve the inheritance legacy and ancient texts of Timbuktu. The city of Tin-Buktu was founded by my ancestor Buktu who created a settlement around a well in the Sahara desert in northern Mali which turned into the 'mythical' city of 333 Saints / Timbuktu.
I delivered speeches and presentations about the history of Timbuktu named after my ancestor Buktu, my family's generational heritage, African-American history and wealth building.
Please do not hesitate to Contact me if you have any questions or would like to talk to me about ways we can collaborate God-willing and as my free time permits. I love contributing to local economies and volunteering where needed the most!
I am open to be booked for Exclusive Speaking engagements. Please coordinate with me months in advance if possible to setup an event! I deliver free talks depending on the distance from me and budgetary constraints of hosts. Have a great rest of the day.
